Some Christians beleive Easter is a Christian Holy Day. Others do not. What the apostle Paul says about this is practical....

Col. 2
Freedom From Human Rules
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 19 They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.

20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

I’ve always found it interesting that from sunset Friday to sunrise Sunday is 3 nights and 3 days.

Colossians chapter 2 has nothing to do with the biblical holy days of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Col 2:20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—

The biblical holy days of the Lord are not basic priniciples of the "World". They are the days commanded by the Lord in sacred scripture.

Col 2:21 "Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,"
Col 2:22 which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men?

The biblical holy days of Jesus Christ are not "commandments and doctrines of men" but are holy days created and instituted by Jesus Christ.

The view you're repeating of Colossians 2 is an old one that attempts to justify not observing the Lords' holy days.

Aspects of today’s Easter celebration are undoubtedly the result of the secular commercializaton of Easter after many decades. It’s hard to guess how the non-biblical searh for colored eggs originated imo.

Your response is rather cryptic.

I don’t know what point you are trying to make in this post or in the response.

Easter is a replacement for the annual holy day of Passover which the Lord Jesus Christ created, kept, and told his followers to keep...

The point is that the Lord has holy days that are found in the bible and I love him and them.

Easter eggs are a Christian tradition derived from people not eating eggs during Lent. They would have eggs left to eat on Easter, and eventually they started coloring them etc.

Oh, I struck a nerve.

Easter is Biblical or its a tradition of men.

Where in the Bible is it commanded we celebrate Easter?

“Where in the Bible is it commanded we celebrate Easter?”

Easter is older than the New Testament.
