isn't there a passage in the bible that states exactly that.....many things happened which are not recorded here???

That does not give people license to fabricate stuff and claim it's the truth.

If they want to make stuff up because if makes them feel all warm and fuzzy inside and people want to believe it for same reason, then nobody is stopping them.

But the minute they try to pass it off as Truth on par with Scripture, it's not going to go unchallenged.
