Matthew 11:11 Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Luke 7:28 I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

ABSOLUTELY INDEED.

Yet, on this score, they ABSOLUTELY REBEL against plain Scripture.

There's consequences for rebelling against God's Word.

And Mary is Queen of Heaven. That makes her greater than John the Baptist. Since Jesus says that the least in Heaven is greater than John the Baptist, we know that when Jesus refers to John the Baptist, he is speaking about the Earthly greatness of John the Baptist, not the Heavenly greatness of John the Baptist, since John the Baptist did go to Heaven.

That's why Jesus says, "There has arisen (PAST TENSE) none greater than John the Baptist." Yet everyone who arises in Heaven arises to more greatness than what John had arisen to.

So you really think He meant it as an absolute not just show the greatness of John's witness but to imply He was Perfect is a stretch since He doubted who Christ was in Scripture:

Matthew 11:2-3

2Now when John had heard in prison the works of Christ: sending two of his disciples he said to him: 3Art thou he that art to come, or look we for another?
