I was VERY VERY cordial. I didn’t attack “Mormonism” nor will I here. I respect your right to worship how you may.
My only point, and I stand by it 100%, is that the first obligation as promised in the Temple is to God and the Church and NOT to the united States. I just do not, and will not, talk about Temple specifics as I want to be respectful. Do not mistake my lack of specifics for lack of knowledge.
But putting Romney’s RINO record aside (which is HUGE), as a Mormon President his first allegiance will be to the Mormon Church. Of course that problem will rarely raise it’s head. But you can rest assured when push comes to shove, and Pres. Monson dictates what he wants, Romney will do it ... no questions asked. For a Mormon to Question the Prophet is to engage in heresy and to risk eternal salvation. That is an influence on our POTUS that I can not abide. I (and many of us) will vote Third Party if Romney somehow backs into the nomination.

and what is it that Pres Monsson wants because I have no clue and you seem to know?
I do know we do believe as stated in our Articles of Faith...
excertps
1 We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2 We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adams transgression.
3 We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4 We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of PaulWe believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.~ Joseph Smith.
That SURE don't keep MORMONs from ignoring their GOD; right Resty??
