When are you Saved? Romans 7 is the key to understanding imputed Righteousness

It is clear to me that God first imputed sin to man after the sin of symbolic Adam who "ate of the tree ". I won't bore you with the scripture but it is well known . Man then failed at God's laws in the Old testament and he sent his Son to death on the cross for our Sins consistent with the blood sacrifices in the holy of holys (See Hebrews 9:3) and the passover sacrifices for thousands of years. Jesus died for our sins that we might live in imputed righteousness.(if you believe That Jesus is the SON) ) But "legalists" want you to live under the Old Testament law in order to get "Tithes" to pay their mortgages as "professional Christians" and to do this they reimpose the falsehood that you must live a"sinless" life. Sin is undefined but they want to throw you back under the law to get you to pay money and feel guilt when your salvation was a free gift from God.

This is really important as we enter the Easter week. The key to this argument is Paul in Chapter 7 of Romans. It is really important to your freedom that you see this. Paul wrote 13 of the 27 New Testament books. He had an undeniable conversion to faith he had condemned to the extent that he loved the stoning of Steven (a believer). Paul is real and died for his belief in Jesus. He was a sinner -- all the time! He was not obedient or a new creature. He was a man in a battle-- all the time. Do you question HIS salvation? I think not unless you are an idiot. Read this 3 times and then I will tell you his next sentence. THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST!!! (Romans 8:1 )

Then contemplate Paul's continuing SIN!! "14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it."!! (Present tense) Paul was the worst of all sinners shrieking with joy as Steven was stoned to death . "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life." [1 Timothy 1:15-16] But do you have any doubt that Paul was saved? He was not obedient!! He violated the commands of God and Jesus!! He was saved by BELIEF in Christ as the son of God!!

We are saved when we realize that we are saved by Christ alone. We then battle sin because we have Christ in us.

You are saved when you are born again, like Jesus explained to Nicodemus. He said when God does this miracle, then you can see The Kingdom of God, and then you have the faith to believe. You see, it is ALL His work in us. We cannot even believe without Him so that we must be saved.
