“And this, in a nutshell, is the proof of the apostasy: a group of fallible, sinful humans CLAIM that they (The Roman Catholic Church) in some way — in any way — have ANY say in the standards set by Almighty God.”

Using that logic, we can’t trust the Bible, because it was written by sinful, fallible humans.

“Here’s a newsflash: God is SOVEREIGN. He and He alone has set the standard; He and He alone determines those who are saved. Man has NOTHING to say about it.”

I don’t know why that’s a newsflash. Who disagrees with that?

“As to why I put “Church” in quotations? To differentiate The True Church (all those called and regenerated) from the Roman Catholic Church that makes the claim of one true church. A false claim at best.”

Your idea of “The True Church” is a manmade invention.

“Where, in scripture, does it state that Mary was “taken” into Heaven?

Where, in scripture, does it state that Mary provides “intercession”?

Where, in scripture, does it state that Mary is an “Advocate,” “Helper,” “Benefactress,” or “Mediatrix?”

And that last one is the kicker — Mediatrix? Really? Where in scripture did God say this? So..... “

You’re acting like Sola Scriptura isn’t some man made heretical invention when you demand for things to be in scripture.

“No amount of saying, “no it doesn’t” will change the cold, hard FACT that the Roman Catholic “Church” is a false church — apostate and heretical.”

You’re opinions are cold, hard facts?

So... Does the Roman Catholic "Church" (or you) deny that scripture is inspired by God? If you so, scripture is being denied. Remember: in scripture it is written that it is "God-breathed." This not my opinion; it is God's.

I don’t know why that’s a newsflash. Who disagrees with that?

The Roman Catholic "Church" does--just showed you from its own catechism. 2 Tim. 2:5. Check it out.

You’re opinions are cold, hard facts?

When backed up with the word of God, opinions BECOME facts. Also, I note you did not provide scriptural proof to refute what I wrote; instead, the tired old canard of "man made" ideas are trotted out. Try learning what Sola Scriptura really means; education is a good thing!

Well, your church is the one which makes the claim to that in the CCC so YOU show us where that appears in Scripture, or admit that the Catholic church is wrong.

Here....http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P2C.HTM

969 "This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfilment of all the elect. Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation .... Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix."510

Do you not believe God's Word is Holy Spirit inspired?

Your scattergun use of quotation marks is incorrect and thus confusing, making it unclear who said what.

It’s helpful to learn html. It’s actually pretty simple and helps to prevent the kind of grammatical mistakes found in your posts.
