Oh? I cannot find recorded anywhere in the WHOLE of the Bible that Mary ever sinned.

ZING!!!

That's always the problem isn't it? We are endlessly grilled to provide reams and reams of documents to prove the doctrine--all of which are intensely scrutinized and challenged. Meanwhile there isn't a stitch of Patristic evidence to *disprove* the doctrine. And that's somehow no problem.

If I remember correctly, Catholic doctrine holds that we are all born in original sin, i.e., the sin of our parents in conceiving us. (Which is why infant baptism is practiced - to absolve that infant of original sin.) Matthew 12:46: While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him.

This implies that at sometime AFTER Christ's birth, Joseph knew Mary in the Biblical sense.

Uhh.... check the one that starts, "For all have sinned and fallen short..."

Did you catch that word "all" - ALL have sinned. The only person on earth that the scriptures indicate did NOT sin is Christ.

It looks like the only "ZING"ing that occurred was to your own FAIL.
