But those who think they are "saved" also paradoxically exude a prideful arrogance that they are themselves blind from realising. After all, those who think that they are "saved" inevitably see themselves to be in a superior position compared to those that are not "saved". If this is not true, how else could these people who think that they are "saved" value their "saving"?

Besides, needing a "saviour" and thinking / pretending that one has one, is a distinction that needs a good deal of emphasis.
