I’m telling you, that’s why they refuse to identify their own denominations. That way, the only identified church is Catholic, and they can hang on to their pride.
Pride makes a fairly ugly garment, standing in front of the Lord God Almighty.
Sad, very sad.
Have a good night!
Nope. It's got nothing to do with pride. It's got everything to do with privacy and not compromising my screenname, as I've told you before.
Now, based on past experience, I fully expect an *I don't believe you* from you, since it seems to be a fairly predicable response to me about things I state. And you are certainly free to deny the truth if you want.
However, I do want it on record that the real reason I will not reveal my denomination is so that my screenname is not compromised. And considering how much I've been on the receiving end of all this *charitable* Catholicism just online, I prefer to keep it that way.
Besides, denominations don't save. Jesus does. Denominations are irrelevant except for being able to access their statement of faith to see if they hold to Scripture as their only and final authority. They are just places to worship.
Everything I believe can be found in Scripture, so it is likewise not true that no one can know my doctrine or where I'm coming from theologically.
All they have to do is read the Bible.
Thanks for being
TERMINALLY WRONG AGAIN.
That statement is so strange-— just by posting I know most every Protestant’s church denomination or I can narrow it down if I talk to them long enough. anytime I had to ask, they told me. Now Catholics on the other hand want to hide behind “Catholic”, yet we now know there are hundreds of sects of “Catholics” and they wont reveal which one is theirs, especially the pentecostal Catholics.
