I’m not at all in favor of reveling in anyone’s sin or pain regardless of Christian brother or sister or not.
I think what . . . troubles to outrages so many Proddys is the virtually constant rationalizing and the extreme scarcity of even as much admission as you just made.
It’s virtually ALWAYS—circle the wagons, DENY, DENY, DENY AND RATIONALIZE RATIONALIZE RATIONALIZE AND THEN CRUCIFY THE MESSENGER AND BLAME PRODDYS.
We get extremely weary to outraged of such a chronic year in and year out pattern.
And some are annoyed enough to finally stand up and scream a bit on our own.
I don't think so Quix: unless you can show me a post where a Catholic actually deny's the abuse problem. I think what happens is that the sad truth of the universality of sin is hard for some of us, Catholic and non-Catholic, to come to terms with. My Church is chock full of sinners, myself chief among them. But thats why I go, I'm sick and need a hospital. I think some of us forget to be humble and pray for one another and that except for the grace of God go I.
That's a massively blatantly piece of steaming folderol from all y'all.
The Church has been in the news for quite some time addressing the charges.
The problem is that all y'all REFUSE to look at what the church has done to change and because it interferes with all y'all’ narrative of Pharisaical purity and holiness you continue to flog the same robotic lines over and over.
