I take it you don’t read the newspapers or watch much TV. It’s all around. We just had a report recently about a church in my hometown (in fact, I had family members who attended there.) Nice conservative, independent, Bible-believing church. All the right buzzwords. Seems the “youth pastor” (Bible college grad, all the right credentials) was diddling some of the youngsters from youth group during off hours. Arrest, newspaper reports, pictures, the whole works.
This is not to condone or mitigate anything going on in the RC denomination. That’s an abomination. But if anyone thinks their church is immune, they have their head stuck firmly in the sand.

Note the operative word “arrest” there.
If you re-read my posts, you will note that I don’t deny that it happens in other churches. The difference is in how it’s handled. That church did it right. Arrest, reports, pictures, the works.
Could we now see some of that from the Catholic church, instead of allowing it to fester, as it has for centuries and offering excuses for having not done so?
If the Church covered it up and moved him to another location, with a new bunch of kids to abuse, you'd have an arguement.
