The Auther of this book was recently on Glenn Beck’s show. Deitrich Bonhoeffer openly opposed Hitler from the pulpit knowing how it would end.

Yes, he did. And he was not alone. Catholic bishops and priests did the same thing.
Bishop Clemens August von Galen, for instance, became known as the “Lion of Munster” for his sermons against the Nazis.
Eric Metaxas’ book is terrific. Bonhoffer opposed Hitler from the git-go, and he could not get the other Protestant pastors to listen. They thought he was over-reacting.
