May I ask a question? O.K., I will anyway....In reading the Scriptures do you look just at WHAT word is used by the translator or do you look far the MEANING of the word used?
Further if you find a word that doesn't seem to make sense as it understood in common usage, how do you discover it's meaning? If you wish I'll give an example: the English word “shambles”.

The word is still person. Except in the RSV Catholic Edition which you so highly recommended.
