“Catholicism stands together with Buddhism and Hinduism...”
This is so lacking in credibility.
That unprecedented gathering at the pope's invitation drew leaders of Jews, Buddhists, Shintoists, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Hindus, Unitarians, traditional African and Native American religions and many others. Together, under the roof of the Basilica of St. Francis, they all prayed, side by side, with Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant leaders for world peace.

(Galatians 3:8-9): 8) But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
9) As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed.
We are not to stand and pray with those that have another god.. we are not to give them comfort or assurances in their prayer, yet the pope felt free to do this , because so much Catholicism has pagan roots
