Quix, there you go again confusing us.
Protestant believers are admonished by Catholics for having denominations, and RCC believers assert the RCC has never had any denominations and only one voice. Isn’t it unequivocally clear that the published Rosaries are not from any denomination, but express the condoned cognizance of the perfect RCC? Or are they?
We are known by our fruits.
When a situation is brought to light, the only rejoicing and encouragement to faith through Christ I observe here, is by those who find the Marion worship to be blasphemous.
If this were merely an “alternate spirituality”, where is the fruit in the RCC, if not considered another denomination?
Maybe I’m not fully awake but I don’t understand how I’m confusing you.
Certainly within the RCC are so many factions as to make the wail about a plethera of Proddy denominations totally ludicrous.
Certainly the Ferraro book represents AT A MINIMUM millions of RC’s perspectives on Mary. That’s FRIGHTFUL TO THE MAX. The RC’s may think that the tiniest fraction of RC’s believe those things about Mary. We have seen just on FR that such an allegation would be quite false.
I haven’t yet succeeded in finding the kind of survey research that must be available on that score. I got interrupted in that search and haven’t gotten back to it. I know from inital probes into my RC social contacts that it’s a frightful percentage.
In following religious threads it appears there are denominations, though as often denied as such, as well sects with Catholic overtones...calling themselves Catholics. I understand why they would not call them denominations...rather something else. Even people who leave the Catholic church and take membership in another church altogether are still considered Catholic....for that matter even those from the Reformation til now would in their minds still be Catholic..."Once a Catholic always a Catholic" has been stated more than once."
But this writing and many others does place them in a difficult situation to explain away....based on what has Romes approval, Bishops signature of approval and such this article bares the names of those who are well known in the Catholic faith...so as stated is it not... or is it indeed but I think only to the mind of one who is Catholic....otherwise it's quite apparent exactly what this is.
Still...hard to get ones heart and head around why Catholics have not removed this and other Mary and idolatry worship from their church? If Christ is to them what they "say" he is...these could not remain.
