and if you're "lucky," one of the "chosen ones," suffering with Christ on His Cross.

If your salvation can be lost, then in the end, Satan has won over the Finished Work of Christ. It's that simple. Does that really make sense to you? And with your It's a lifetime of listening, praying, fasting, listening some more, reading, worshiping, doing good works, etc.

, then you must be "LUCKY" enough to be one of the chosen ones? And if you have not read enough, done enough good works, fasting long enough, prayed hard enough, listened closely enough, etc. enough, then you do not inherit eternal life and Satan has won? I thought Satan was defeated by the cross.

Suffering with joy (and for Jesus and others) is good. Praying is good. Eucharist consumption can save your life. All that I listed, and so much more, will help lead one down a holy path to God. Satan only wins if you let him.
