You stopped looking for alternatives. There's one that is above all others. I left tha Catholic Church and found salvation in Jesus. I will never look back at the damage, mind-games, idolotry, control, guilt, dependence and endless works I left behind.

There are no alternatives. If anyone ever succeeds in convincing me that the Catholic Church is wrong, is not the True Church of Christ, they will not make of me some other kind of Christian, they will make of me an atheist.

There is simply no other option in Christianity that has any credible claim to being the Church Christ founded. There is no group, formal, informal, etc., that has the Words of Everlasting Life.

I'm either Catholic, or I'm nothing. No other options.

Nonsense. I tried them all. Mainstream protestant, fundamentalist, pentecostal, independent evangelical. Been there, done that, nothing there for anyone who understands scripture as well as history.
