I guess you know about Joseph Smith's destruction of the printing press and private property.

I am unable to lay my hand on that part of Scripture which saith, "Two wrongs DO make a right."

I didn't say Mormons did no wrong. I still think it was wrong for a mob to kill Joseph Smith, if that's what happened.

I am operating under the assumption that MORMONs were being mistreated because of their RELIGIOUS beliefs; NOT because the founder was a crook, jerk, liar and adulterer.

Yes; that's what happened.

But if you read oly the scrubbed LDS version of it, you'll hear that JS was a MARTYR for his beliefs.

NOT about the CRIMES he was being charged with and the ANGRY husbands who had their WIVES hit on by JS!

And yes; they will grudgungly admit that JS and his brother did manage to have WEAPONS on them.
