Logo 'twas this kind of open deception that Mormon apologist Gregory L. Smith conceded to occur that has long stayed with the Lds reputation-wise.

You may be right about the effect on our reputation. But tell me, do you think that today's Latter-day Saints deserve the reputation of being dishonest?

Or to put it another way, are Latter-day Saints more or less honest than other people?

One could ask the white collar crimes section of the Utah Justice Department; but that would be a distraction.

Are Latter-day Saints more or less DECEIVED than other people?

“But tell me, do you think that today’s Latter-day Saints deserve the reputation of being dishonest?”

Dishonest, when it serves their purposes.

“Or to put it another way, are Latter-day Saints more or less honest than other people? “

I can tell you that most financial frauds have a Utah address.

If you are asking if LDS are less honest than your average non-Christian, I’d say yes. They repeat lies that will land their hearers in hell, if they believe them. They have a complete heretical fantasy world of man-made works and a tale of becoming gods.

The average non-Christian is watching Sex in the City and drinking beer and enjoying life with none of the deception of mormonism.
