Do you really need Mary to tell you to go to Jesus? Won't anyone else work?

Jesus Himself called people to Himself. Isn't that good enough for Catholics? They need Mary to tell them as well?

If they're not going to listen when Jesus calls them, why would they listen when Mary tells them what to do?

Couldn't they just follow her example without her telling them what to do?

Has the Catholic church got its adherents so brainwashed that they can't think for themselves and make their own decisions? They have to have someone do it for them?
