Who cares what the church faterhs thought?

If what they thought deviated from the plain clear meanijng of Scripture, they were wrong.

And since it’s documented that they disagreed with each other, then which church father do you believe? The one who supports what you want to hear the most?

Jesus strongly condemned the traditions of men and constantly appealed to Scripture saying, “It is written”. He especially condemned putting them above Scripture like the Pharisees did, and when one interprets Scripture in light of church tradition, like the RCC does, then they are the Pharisees of the day.

Contrary to what the RCC brainwashes its constituents to believe, the Bible is NOT that hard to understand.

Was Jesus wrong for getting back to Scripture as well or should He have listened to the *church fathers* (Pharisees) of His day?

What these Holy humble people thought were plain clear meanings differs from what you call clear-you would offer a good argument if protestants agree on what is clear-sadly you don't or there would be unity with concrete teachings, not believe whatever you want pluralistic Christianity
