When you are your own Pope and eat a heaping bowl of YOPIOS each day, it is obviously easy to do. As so many demonstrate. That would be different from COPIOS (Catholics' Own Personal Interpretation of Scripture) as sorta guided by their particularly favored Magisterium and what they had for breakfast? How exactly???

Catholics do not interpret the Bible apart from the authority of Jesus. The traditions of ordinary men, versus the traditions of the Apostles.

The Catechism and Bible leave little or no room for interpretational error. Therefore any departure is a willful decision by the individual.
