Okay. So your contention is that God does whatever pleases Him but He can't do whatever pleases him. He does it, He just can't do it.
I listened to the local evangelical station on the radio for a while today. They said pretty much the same thing.

Ow. Suddenly my head hurts. ;-) I am so impressed with the way "virtue ethics" and scholastic realism and blah blah clears up a lot of issues. Evidently metmom didn't get the point, but it was fun to get to the point where I could say: TRUE: It is impossible for God to lie FALSE: God cannot lie.
But then, I do have a weird sense of fun.
