7 When you pray, dont babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. 8 Dont be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! 9 Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, --New Living Translation 7And when you pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much speaking. [I Kings 18:25-29.] 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. 9Pray, therefore, like this: 15But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their [j]reckless and willful sins, [k]leaving them, letting them go, and [l]giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses. --Amplified Pray with Simplicity 5"And when you come before God, don't turn that into a theatrical production either. All these people making a regular show out of their prayers, hoping for stardom! Do you think God sits in a box seat? 6"Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace. 7-13"The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant. They're full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling techniques for getting what you want from God. Don't fall for that nonsense. This is your Father you are dealing with, and he knows better than you what you need. With a God like this loving you, you can pray very simply. Like this: 16-18"When you practice some appetite-denying discipline to better concentrate on God, don't make a production out of it. It might turn you into a small-time celebrity but it won't make you a saint. If you 'go into training' inwardly, act normal outwardly. Shampoo and comb your hair, brush your teeth, wash your face. God doesn't require attention-getting devices. He won't overlook what you are doing; he'll reward you well. |

OH YEAH? Well at least we are all BIBLE BELIEVING booger-brains! Double Nyah!!
INDEED.
Scripture has good promises to those who are liberal givers.
I like that.
Thx.
Harumph!
Takes one to know one nyah nyah!
LOL.
Not sure when I’ll get back to earlier back burnered stuff.
Pottery calls loudly this month.
I can imagine that.
LOL.
Just as I thought! Can't argue a point so you start calling names!!! ;o)
Actually, I do have a little sinus problem 'cuz of allergies, but I didn't think they got that far up!
Sweet dreams, y'all.
Mother did often enough say that it sounded like I was blowing my brains out through my big nose.
Note how I have elevated the tone of the entire discussion.
No, that’s okay. Don’t thank me. Just knowing I’ve helped is enough for me.
INDEED.
On a more sobering note.
I call all authentic believers to prayerfully ponder the initial ORIGINAL POSTING of the 5 dreams on this thread as well as post #23

I’d consider making a mug or bowl for you. Just no promises as to when it might be done. So it’s kind of an IF AND WHEN sort of thing.
The advantage currently is that I’m making a bunch of stuff for Pastor’s daughter’s wedding . . . and some extra pieces to make sure some come out well . . . so I might have some extra pieces come out . . . I could put your name on a mug, most likely. I prefer to make large ones. IF you wanted a bowl, I prefer to make them at least say 2.5-3” diameter up to 15” or so diameter. I’m somewhat willing to make a globular bowl at least 12” diameter—essentially a ball with an opening of about 3” or so.
I don’t make many plates or platters but am making a few at the moment.
I work mostly in blues, whites, aquas, a chen red . . . purples.
Stoneware fires to a bit of a red/orange body with grit in it . . . some mostly porcelain clay.
Oh my Goodness! I am truly honored that you would do that!
However, I strongly prefer to make things to folks’ preferences.
So, I’d need to know some within the parameters above.
I love blue!
HMMMMM
Mugs more
cereal bowls more
serving bowls more
globular stew pot for microwave or oven more
???
Here’s Nick’s website.
Super impressive Christian born without any limbs—giving his all to Jesus.

hummmmm Any of the above would delight me.
Would you be willing to rank them in priority preference, please???
Also, if there is a favorite Scripture you might like on such a thing.
Thanks for the link!
“He will cover you with his feathers and under His wings you will find refuge” Psalm 91:4 That is quite a few words maybe there would be room on a bowl. One day I must tell you why that is my favorite.
