From an LDS understanding is that other faiths doctrines have been alter (as some would lable it preverted) omited and deleted the Word of the Lord.
But I am not anti other faiths just disagree for I know the Holy Spirit has witness many faithful believers who love the Lord yet are not aware of the stumbling stones that are present.
If ‘other’ faiths have been altered as you say then why did Joseph Smith Jr. incorporate those so-called errors in his re-translation of the Bible? He also incorporated those same errors in the BOM .... so the BOM is not all that accurate either ....
Yet, you see NO problem with ADDING to the Word?
Interesting position you find yourself in.
You decry the scriptures as written, but will not subject your own "prophets" to the same standard in regards to their words.
Or is it that "all of the thinking has been done for you" once your "prophet(s)" have spoken?
Then QUIT stumbling over ALL the things in MORMONism that just don't add up and get a church that can actually TEACH you what the Word means.

Wait a minute....
You claim WE are not aware of the ‘stumbling stones’ of our faith, yet you apparently REFUSE to see the GROSS inconsistencies (stumbling boulders) in your own LDS faith.
What it appears is that you are saying you know better than all of us. hmmm....
