What is the definition of 'anti-Mormon'?
I have often heard the criticism that Latter-day Saints classify everyone who disagrees with our beliefs as "anti-Mormon." Of course, the people who say this are usually anti-Mormons. Am I proving their point? I don't think so.
I actually agree that this is a problem in our church. After all, our belief system, if firmly embraced, demands a lot of personal sacrifice, and we often become hyper-defensive when we sense a threat to our faith.
Unfortunately, this often leads to irrational name-calling and blindly neglecting to differentiate between non-Mormons and anti-Mormons.
Of course, that's not to say anti-Mormons don't exist, or that it's unimportant to identify them. We just need to properly define the term.
First of all, we shouldn't call people who simply don't believe in Mormonism "anti-Mormons." We should call them Catholics or Baptists or Muslims or atheists. People who ascribe themselves to faiths or philosophies that contradict Mormonism should not automatically be seen as antagonists. They should be credited with having their own beliefs.
Now, what about people who try to convert Latter-day Saints to their belief systems? Are they anti-Mormons?
No.
The believing Baptist who testifies of his church's doctrine to a Latter-day Saint is trying to do something he believes is constructive. Even if he attempts to point out supposed flaws in Mormon doctrine, if his genuine intent is to save a soul and he maintains a polite, rational tone, I don't think he deserves the anti-Mormon label. After all, should Mormon missionaries be considered anti-Catholics or anti-Protestants?
The line, I believe, that separates non-Mormons from anti-Mormons is motivation. Anti-Mormons are people who put down Mormon beliefs, practices and people simply for the sake of destroying their faith. Not many anti-Mormons would admit that is their primary goal, of course, but that doesn't mean it isn't so.
For the most part, anti-Mormons should be ignored. But before that can happen, they have to be identified

Joseph Smith reported the following revelation: "It is my will that you should hasten to translate my scriptures" (D&C 93:53). Although not a complete list, the foregoing items illustrate Joseph Smith's claim to a divine appointment to translate the Old and New Testaments. That revelation thingy is a handy little tool, ain't it? Obama will be trying it next.

NOW LDSism has stolen ideas front HINDUism?? Actually, belief in pre-existence was stolen from Judaism. As a Christian, I believe in pre-existence, as the ancient Jews taught it (well of souls), i.e. "before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you". Reincarnation is a bastardization of this teaching, and with it's accompanying karma, lures people away from the truth that "it is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the judgment".
That said, Mormonism is wackier and kookier than any Hindu falsehood, no matter where they stole their ridiculous hallucinations from.

You keep calling us contentious as if it were a bad thing. I will contend for the REAL Jesus with my last breath.
You ask “and for what, when the world is in such chaos”. That’s exactly why. The world is in chaos becasue we told God he could take a hike and we could handle things just fine down here on our own. We’d just give him a jingle if we had a car accident or a pop quiz in Algebra.
So, how’s that working out for us? Yeah.
Time to focus elsewhere Resty? What else could possibly matter? Yes, we want the United States to be a city on a hill, to follow God’s plan. But that will never happen unless we can point one heart at a time toward the God of the bible; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Mormon Tab Choir may sing what appears to be Chrsitian Hymns but the words have been changed and watered down to satisfy the mormon gods...
When they sing “Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty” they leave off the truth about who God is...
They change they words to mean something else...
The first verse in that Christian Hymn has a last line...
“God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity”
The Mormon Tab Choir sing that line as...
“God in his glory, blessed diety”
it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

We sing songs with the music from the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir at our church. for Chrsitmas programs etc..
For Easter we are singing their “Who Can Satisfy My Soul Like You”
Who can satisfy my soul like You
Who on earth could comfort me and love me like You do
Who could ever be more faithful true
I will trust in You I will trust in You my God
Living Water rain down Your life on me
Cleansing me refreshing me with life abundantly
River full of life I’ll go where You lead
I will trust in You I will trust in You my God
Chorus
There is a Fountain who is a King
Victorious Warrior and Lord of everything
My Rock my Shelter my very own
Blessed Redeemer who reigns upon the throne

No
Mormons call Christians “pigs”..
and in their doctrines they are commanded not to associate with non-mormons...
If they associate with non-mormons, ie Chrsitians...they do not get a temple recommend...
so they lie to get a temple recommend...
The temple recommend is important...
its a ticket, a membership card to get into a mormon temple...
so they can play dress up like a lot of silly kids ..
the mormon males wear funny feminine aprons and bakers hats..
But what’s cooked up in there is not digestable by Christians...
