There’s great merit in posting Scriptures.

Those who have no use for nor respect for Scriptures

are exceedingly unlikely to be the least bit touched or influenced by them.

They won’t return void, As God noted.

However, it’s futile to expect constructive results . . . particularly in the short term . . . in some quarters.

I suspect your correspondents are applying the Law of the Excluded Middle to God. He can be God or man or a half-breed but not fully both God and man.

That's my suspicion, too, dearest sister in Christ.

Again, they try to reduce God to the level of their logic and understanding. They cannot accept the paradox of both fully God and fully human. And then, when they've got God so reduced, they find He isn't much of a God after all. Well, at least they get that part right.... God filtered through their finite intellects really cannot be much of a God. But they forget it was they themselves who are responsible for the reduction that effectively falsifies God in the first place.
