Big difference.

Prophecy of Scripture:

2 Peter

2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Sects of perdition are destructive heresies.

And there are lots and lots of sects out there now. Most from the 1600s.

Sola, every man his own pope; every man his own prophet
as his spirit sees fit.

The Holy Spirit does not and cannot give divided interpretations of Scripture.
