LOLOL! You truly expect us to give any credence to a site that calls the Catholic Church a religious cult? Who knows what they made up?

I'm thinkin' you got it backwards...That site calls your religion a cult because of it's cross with Mary on it (and numerous other things)...

I have to say that some of the people who come here and slander the Catholic Faith are truly righteous people. I’ve had some fine conversations off board with them. Some others, I feel would recoil from me wearing my crucifix if they saw me bleeding on the street. That’s not attributing emotions, that is just the way I feel.

There are those who debate doctrinal differences, but do so in a polite and honest fashion.

Unfortunately, there are also some here who are nothing more than bigots who will openly lie and fabricate falsehoods to fit their agenda.

This is a statue of the Goddess Tyche

View of Tyche the goddess of fortune holding the child Plutos, the god of plenty. The huge statue dates to the second century A.D.
Note too the crown of acanthus leaves on Tyche’s head.

He calls LOTS of other faith cults.
Looks like a bit of untreated Paranoia going on.

I understand what you believe I just don’t agree with you that it’s all so black and white in regards to Romanist dogma and it’s infallibility and to refer back to the source for confirmation of the premise is circular reasoning.

I do like the idea of “Bing the Pope”, though.

I really feel they are the Blessed that Our Lord will smile on.

"Mary...she continues unceasingly to reconcile man to God with her Mediation and Distribution of all the graces of Redemption. Consequently, she is proclaimed the Mother of universal reconciliation...She is, therefore, the Mother Mediatrix and Dispensatrix of all graces

As we know, Mary is NOT the dispenser of any type of Grace...

This is a damnable, hellish heresy and they are making a Saint(?) out of this Christian impostor...

That's religion for sure, but it is in no way Christianity...

Well that’s your loss if you don’t want to believe fact.
It is always more reassuring to find comfort in falsehoods that fit one’s agenda.

It’s like watching NBC then flipping on Glenn Beck. Truth is truth. It’s just a matter of whether one chooses to believe it or not.

If you and others could contain your unbridled excitement of having found yet another Catholic-bashing website and read a little further, you will find that this church and its pastor ALSO HATE Calvinists, Pentecostals, Evangelicals and Southern Baptists. But if you are comfortable accepting everything they say as fact, by all means go right ahead.

Any quotes from Padre Pio are not from the Vatican. Anyone can have an opinion. Padre Pio thought that women should never wear pants in church. That doesn’t make it so.

As Pope Pius XII says in the Encyclical “Mystici Corporis" (1943): She offered Him on Golgotha to the Eternal Father together with the holocaust of her maternal rights and her motherly love like a new Eve for all children of Adam As "The New Eve" she is, as the same Pope declares, in the Constitution" Muniticentissimus Deus" (1950), “the sublime associate of the Redeemer”.

What a bunch of poppycock...Your pope is wrong, again...

Mary did not offer her son Jesus to the FATHER for anything...

GOD OFFERED THE SON (FOR US)...

together with the holocaust of her maternal rights and her motherly love like a new Eve for all children of Adam As "The New Eve"

What kind of gibberish is that??? The holocaust of her maternal rights??? A new Eve???

It has nothing to do with that sight...It has to do with your religion having Crosses with Mary on them...

See post #610, I’m reasonably certain that the pictures are false.

You keep posting that photograph, with no location or verification

I posted the location. And I accept the verification offered at the site.

No amount of proof would satisfy those who are determined to deny the meaning of the clear and foul words of the RCC catechism, its popes and its saints.

If I posted an 8 x 10 glossy of that cross on the front door of the basilica in Rome some Roman Catholics would just as quickly say it was "photoshopped."

As I said, after hearing RCs defend Ratzinger's "global authority," we now know RCs can stonewall, deny, defend just about anything...

SCRIPTURE: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men..."

RCC: "No, there are lots of 'em."

I accept the verification of that photo. You don't. I'm not surprised.

>>It has to do with your religion having Crosses with Mary on them... <<

Prove it.
Give us an example of a cross with Mary on it that is not an image taken by a religious bigot (bigoted against MANY faiths, not just Catholics)

Show us, the ball is in your court. Where is there a “Cross” with Mary on it?

Do you also accept what that site says about Calvinists, Evangelicals and Southern Baptists? Or do you only accept what they say about the Catholic Church?

I accept the verification of that photo. You don't. I'm not surprised.

I posted several VERIFIABLE photos (i.e. they can be viewed on multiple websites) of the basilica in question. It is one of the oldest and most visited churches in Rome. NOTHING in any photo even comes close to resembling the picture you posted.

SCRIPTURE: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men..."

So then you never ask anyone to pray for you, right?

I guess all of those “prayer request” threads are populated exclusively by Catholics?

The ball is in your court too.

WHERE is the “Main Mary Basilica in Rome”?

Show us. You didn’t post a location, you posted gibberish.
Anyone taking a picture to prove a point would at least have a real name of a particular church.

Unless they want to hide the fact that this is not real.
