“And if by grace, then is it NO MORE OF WORKS: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it NO MORE GRACE: otherwise work is no more work.” (Romans 11:6) The two, grace and works, can not both be in operation at the same time for the salvation of the soul.

Amen.

5 Even so then, at this present time also, there is a remnant saved according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

These people were saved, they did not have to produce good works along with their faith, to be saved.
