That's an arbitrary date affixed by Catholic haters. The Catholic Church goes all the way back to Sts. Peter & Paul. The lie that it began in AD 395 or 337 or 306 or whenever is a Dan-Brownian convenient fiction. Those who propagate this myth expose themselves as historically ignorant.
