No, souls will not associate with Christ in the TELESTIAL Kingdom - this is different from the TERRESTRIAL Kingdom.
That is where those who reject Christ go. That is also where the wicked who haven’t committed unforgivable sins go after they complete their punishment in hell or “spirit prison.”
You see, for Mormons, God is not vindictive or sadistic - after the wicked pay for their sins, they are released from hell and obtain some happiness for all eternity. Sure, this is coupled with the knowledge that because of their choices they screwed up and could’ve had so much more, could’ve enjoyed companionship with Christ, and could’ve even been exalted; but they get what they deserve. They will be grateful for God’s mercy because he could’ve left them suffering in hell if he wanted to, or even cast them into outer darkness, together with the horribly evil and rebellious spirits.

When you point to Rev 20:12 it is also important to note this Great Judgment has certain humans excluded from it, as in the Bride of Christ ... the Lambs Book of Life is not the book opened in Rev 20:12.
Huh???
Revelation 20:11-15
11. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.
12. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
13. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.
14. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
15. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
If 'christians' are not there, they WHY is the BoL opened to see if their name is in it?

I Said: BTW my point in said Post was that those Gods are only Gods over their creations, not our God which is in complete agreement with the commandment that we have no other Gods before our creator.
You Said: DU, please point me to the LDS scriptural source for that statement, please? I have not seen it put in that way (Gods over their creations) before, and I'm pretty sure I never HEARD it either. Enosh has asked for Biblical reference, but I'm curious about the LDS reference.
It's a logical construct, with Scripture that supports it, I can go look up scriptures, but the logic goes like this.
God is our God because:
- He is our creator.
- He is our Father (spiritually)
- He authored our salvation
- He has all power over us
- He has created all that we can see, and has all power over it, he even created time for us.
When we become Gods it will be by emulating him exactly, so we will Create, Father spirits, author salvation for our children, have all power over our creations, and be their God.
To me this was self evident logic, I can find scriptures, for one in the Doctrine and Covenants says that all truth is independent in the sphere in which God has placed it, we will likewise be independent in the sphere which God will give us.
If you want more, gimme a break, FM me while I catch up here and I will reply later, man this thread is like a runaway locomotive - - tough to catch up with!

I respectfully disagree with EW and you.
Legislation based upon morality is the foundation of western civilization. If you truly agree with EW, you favor de-criminalizing all laws based upon a moral code for human conduct. As I stated in post 757, If your position were adopted, laws prohibiting theft, fraud, murder, bribery, perjury, embezzlement, forgery, domestic abuse, indecent exposure, and a myriad of other morally based crimes would be repealed because they are based on a system of moral conduct.
Please tell me that isnt what you really want.
You can legislate Justice, Fairness and you can legislate rules and regulations.
You cannot legislate morality no matter how you try.
I am not opposed to laws, just laws like Roe V Wade which attempt to legislate morality (and Roe V Wade was not a law, just a decision of the supreme court.)

Then your god could have died.
Mine can't and never was any danger of doing so.
And you call you yourself a Christian...
My God died for me on the cross....
Death is not an End, but an ending of this life...

God is. The great I AM. He was not born in time, then stepped out of time, then stepped back into time. First words of the Bible are In the beginning God . . . The multiverse concept makes nature the ultimate creator of God in the form of an uncreated universe, rather than reverse. Prior universes, extending back into infinities of other universes all creating Gods. Mormon theology has no first mover as I have been told by Edward, the chain of universes just extend back infinitely. Any created god is one the gods of wood and stone we are warned against in the Bible. Mormons do not worship God, but worship a god, a creation.
You are welcome to your opinion, however incorrect it may be.
However to state such a thing as a fact when you know it is in dispute by those who believe it to be true (and you have no concrete evidence either way) would be to state a lie because you would be stating a fact that is not so accepted. there for if you want to preface your statement with "In My opinion", people like myself and Edward will not call you out for lying for you will finally be speaking the truth, it's your opinion.
Good luck, have fun and don't state what you can't prove, or we'll have this little chat again and again you will look foolish. (and that's my opinion)
