Can't be...Your church has some unsaved sinners in it...Jesus' church has NO unsaved sinners in it...Would be an impossiblility for an unsaved person to be a member of the church Jesus founded...Therefore, you got the wrong church...
Done the Lent research yet?
...Jesus' church has NO unsaved sinners in it..
This is one of the really interesting disagreements. I think we'd refer to the parable of the wheat and the tares. And we'd say it ain't over until it's over. (It's some other religion that has fat ladies ...)
Am I right in saying that you guys don't know who's in your church? Your notion of Church is that it's 'invisible'? Remind me, please, where you find that in Scripture.
**...Would be an impossiblility for an unsaved person to be a member of the church Jesus founded...**
Absolutely, yes, who was the first person into paradise after Christ? The good thief who was a sinner, but repented right there on the cross with Jesus.
Hate the sin, love the sinner. Christ died for our sins -- one of the reasons we seek support in scripture, liturgy and fellowship such as catechesis (You call it Sunday School for adults.)
People of every faith are saved if they live sincerely according to their religion.
