Which version of the Bible says that Mary and Joseph did "come together?" At the very least, both the NIV and KJV strongly imply that they did in Matt. 1:18. They both say "before they came together" she was with child. Not after they came together, before they did. It would make no sense at all to use that wording if they never came together.
