Paul, btw, often refer to many women in his writings and how they were great supporters of his ministry Supporters yes, but he saw noa ctive role for women in the Church. In fact he suggests they keep silent and ask their husbands when they get home what it was all about. He makes it very clear that man is the head of a woman the way Christ is the head of man.

In fact he suggests they keep silent and ask their husbands when they get home what it was all about. I doubt if Paul was telling women to shut up in church. Lydia, a very active support of Paul's ministry, was instrumental of forming a church. I think you're reading too much into that.
