A) It's enviro-silliness. Most of us cringe at priests so blatantly delving into the political (always leftist politics of course). B) Also, it's a little bit of ridiculous show business with the priest using lubicrant to bless the bikes and applying suncsreen to bless the audience. Sort of a mockery of a priest using holy water or oil to bless people. But then again, I don't expect much from a church founded on adultery. Certainly not that they take Christianity seriously.
