Our New Worship Space (Check out these renovations!)
Church of the Resurrection ^

Posted on 07/28/2005 8:25:37 AM PDT by fortunecookie

As you enter the building from one of our two parking lots, you enter our newly constructed Gathering Area that serves as our “concourse” leading either to our parish center and offices, or to the worship space. Accessible from the Gathering Area is the place to hang coats and hats, the restrooms, babysitting room, and a multi-purpose room.

"Christ Rising" looks like he's in the shower rinsing his chest with all that square white tile around him. And one of the Stations of the Resurrection looks like a hot air ballon touching down in a river. This symbolizes what? is there a key to these devotionals?

And the oculus window with the four elements looks like the Unitarian symbol (a flame in a dish). So says this Catholic raised Unitarian.

All of truly good catholic things too!

First Eucharist
At Church of the Resurrection, preparation for First Eucharist traditionally takes place in grade two.
Reconciliation is usually celebrated in the sixth grade at a parish communal reconciliation service.
And all the good important catholic things: Centering Prayer, Labyrinth, Taizé Prayer

The tabernacle looks like it can be inhabited by R2D2.
