That's a pretty ignorant thing to say considering that Mazdaism had a lot of influence on Judaism -- the Jews got an idea about angels and souls etc. from the Zoroastrians. Mazdaism was also competeing with Christianity in the Roman world in the 1st century. the Jews got an idea about angels and souls etc. from the ZoroastriansInteresting. Zoroastrianism also had quite an impact on Islam, and the sect of Shiah Islam maintains many Zorastrian doctrines, most especially the idea of the "awaited saviour".
