I'm not down at all! If there is one thing I have learned - it's you can't stop people from being stupid. I like to focus on the people that are smart and have something original to say - which is why I like FreeRepublic.

Our founding fathers did manage to stop people from being stupid, for a while at least. Only about 10% of the people supported the revolution, yet they were able to overcome the "tyranny of the majority" that was loyal to the king.
