XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX MON OCT 06, 2003 17:14:02 ET XXXXX
The executive producer of Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent film COLLATERAL DAMAGE is warning colleagues in a purported email: "Please be sure to vote NO on the recall. I know Arnold personally. He is in no way qualified to govern anybody or anything."
An email claimed to be written by producer Hawk Koch began circulating in top studio circles on Monday, THE DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"Friends, Please be sure to vote on Tuesday. Please be sure to vote NO on the recall. I know Arnold personally. He is in no way qualified to govern anybody or anything.I spent 6 months with him,he showed ZERO leadership qualities.Even less understanding of budgets. When speaking of women and adultry his line was 'Eating in not Cheating'. He called latinos low foeheaded fans!!! We must stop him and that means you must do whatever you can to be sure and get to your polling place. Also call or e-mail all your like minded or on the fence friends a get them out there. Thanks Hawk."
Koch, who has donated dollars to Democrats in the past, could not be reached after repeated requests for comment.

Many of these sleazy double-standard democrats have not earned the right to pull moral issues out of their hat of tricks.
But I'll say G.O.P. (particularly Social) Conservatives consistently against Pervert Bill Clinton who want good clean government and men of personal integrity, family character and upright standards in charge, have every right to question the meaning of that man as Governor, (R) after the name or no (R).

Davis already PROVED that he isn't fit to be governor.
And here is a guy pushing "no on recall", i.e. keep Davis and smearing Arnold. What does that tell you?

I do not believe that Drudge's rage towards Arnold is either politically or morally motivated... it is personal.
Drudge had been splashing siren headlines for weeks that Arnold wasn't going to run. He even made a claim that Arnold would endorse Riordan on the Tonight Show. When that didn't happen, he was made to look like a fool. He has been after Arnold ever since.

Pretty pathetic of Drudge. This isn't news, or even alleged news. A PURPORTED email? This is bordering on lunacy.

Drudge has now resorted to running unconfirmed emails as screaming siren headlines? Apparently

This really sounds farcical. I have to question if this e-mail is even sent out by the actual producer of Collateral damage. The entire e-mail sounds like it was witten by a left-wing fanatical schill.Barbara Streisand? Or her executive assistant, whatshername?

Wasn't the movie "Collateral Damage," the film that Arnold worked so hard to film in California not Canada?
If so, then this producer made less money than he wanted on the film (since it cost more to film on California).
Could this be retribution?

Drudge has a serious vendetta. No one may know for sure, but I speculate that Drudge was slighted by Schwarzenegger sometime in the past. Maybe he refused an interview or talked crap about Drudge, but the manifestations are evident. Matt couldn't talk about anything else Sunday night, like a buddy who gets dumped and then spends the rest of the evening trying to convince you what a worthless b***h the she was. Matt's preocupation with Mr Schwarzenegger is not commensurate with a healthy concern for California politics. It is more pathological in nature.

There was some talk in the June-August time frame where I could have sworn I saw a comment by Drudge that if Schwarzenegger ran he'd have a field day with him. The connotation that I gleaned from that was that he'd take Schwarzenegger down all by himself.
I've searched to find a comment similar to that by Drudge, but have not found it. So far all I can do is say that I sure thought I read something to that effect, but might be mistaken.
I'd have a real guilt complex about reporting this if Drudge didn't operate by the same rules.

Barbara Streisand?
Nah.
Babs (of "Don't Attaq Irack" fame) cannot even SPELL "Gray Davis."

Regardless of what you think about Grey Davis, we should all be able to agree that we must now stop this attempted hijacking of the democratic process. Impeaching Clinton ...Florida and the 2000 election ... Redistricting in Texas ... now California... What makes the Right Wing think they can just bully and buy their way into power? If we allow this recall to win, we will be setting a dangerous precedent.
In this unfair process, a candidate receiving just 30% of the vote could beat Davis, even if the governor receives 49%. Our governor was elected fair and square just a year ago. He deserves the opportunity to serve out his time in office. So get out there on October 7th and vote no on recall !!!

I was a journalist for many years (no joke) and there is NO WAY I would go into the mainstream or event the alternative media now. They are all into playing political games. All of this stuff is timed to give NO CHANCE Arnold to answer. The tabloids are as bad as the mainstream media which is just as bad as Drudge, who has shown that he embodies his name. And if you look at the double standards the Democrats are just as bad as how they claimed the Republicans were. The media has no standards and both parties now seem to apply double standards. I voted for Arnold, by the way, because getting rid of Davis is our number one priority in this state and he will at least have a chance of getting some things done because he tends to have a bigger "tent" for his constituency. I KNEW we'd see some new bombshell on Monday. Probably something tomorrow too. It is filth politics at its worst -- and I see no sign of either party wanting to diminish the way the game is played now here or across the country. In the past we at least had a press as neutral arbiter; now we have politicized mainstream and alternative media, both of which too lazy to check out facts and not be PAWNS of filthy political operatives on both sides of the fence.

Unfortunately, if Arnold wins, I don't think Drudge will let goWhat does he think will happen? Is Arnold going to start assaulting old ladies in his office because he's having a bad day? Oh yeah--that's Davis. I guess I got my governor's mixed up...
Why isn't Drudge giving that story some play? I understand how conservatives could have misgivings about Arnold, and find themselves partial to McClintock, but I really hate how just about every conservative radio talk show host in my area has turned his show into a non-stop campaign headquarters for Tom...Drudge included.
I'm sure nobody is happier with that than Davis.
