Translation: Arab despots and Islamic terrorists are $#!tting in their pants.
To: El Conservador
What Israel basically told the Arab world today is that if the Arabs keep supporting Palestinian terrorism, there is going to be a regional war.
Given recent events in Iraq, Israel has never been in a better position than now to make that kind of threat.
I think the Arabs will be quickly backing off--for now.

Arab League condemned the Israeli attack... Because they are scared that the Israelis are coming for them. And this time there is no Soviet Union to provide a counterweight.

What Israel basically told the Arab world today is that if the Arabs keep supporting Palestinian terrorism, there is going to be a regional war. My thought exactly. A major problem that the Arabs face is that we occupy one of their states. We need not lift a finger to help the Israelis to make the Arab plight very grave.

I think the Arabs will be quickly backing off--for now. Not until Israel releases the true dogs of war and starts to play the same game as the terrorists, start killing innocent civilians. Tit for tat! If we aren't safe in our buses, your aren't safe in your homes!

"And this time there is no Soviet Union to provide a counterweight."And now you know why Chirac is trying to assemble another anti-American counterweight. I'm looking forward to the day when someone takes out a terrorist camp near Paris!
To: El Conservador
The leader of Islamic Jihad, Ramadan Shallah, told Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV that the Israeli attack was "a grave development that exceeded all rules of the game." "...all rules of the game." So in other words, they object that Israel isn't following what the arabs think are "rules of the game?"
Good for Israel. The arabs will have to wonder what the new rules are. Carefully.

The rules of the game are that Israel has its hands held behind its back while its enemies keep slugging it in teh stomach, kicking it, again and again and again.
Israel refuses to follow those rules because it will survive.

"Arabs and many people across the globe feel that Israel is above law," Would that be Islamic Law, perhaps?

It's comforting to know that Israel can pound the crap out of these tinpot Arab dictatorships and all the the Arabs can do is whine to the UN. They sure can't win on the battlefield.

Absolutely, can you imagine the news if Israel had killed 19 civilians at the beach in a suicide bombing?
