When my doctor, my nutritionist, dieticians I have spoken with, and future examination of the Atkins diet tells me that it's beneficial, I'll agree. That is my sense of scientific inquiry. Or do you suppose that the Harvard study and other advocates of Atkins is the be-all end-all? That is not scientific inquiry. And, mostly everyone on the planet- - -well, at least in civilized countries knows that junk food, fast food, processed food, and overeating without exercise is the cause of obesity which in turn brings about the conditions for heart disease, hypertension and diabetes. I don't have those problems because I don't eat that way. I'm advocating that people eat sensibly and exercise. You find that amusing? I don't believe Atkins is eating sensibly.
I'm not going to beat a dead horse with this and I'm certainly not going to change my mind. If you think this is "too funny" then that is your prerogative.

Not to be rude, but I can't for the life of me understand why you stay on this thread. You have stated your position over and over and about 98 per cent of the posters disagree with you, so why keep shovelling sand against the tide?
