Could be "valid" but seeing as it came from Bailey with whom Shohat had a HUGE dustup, the accuser is going to be discounted - press and public opinion-wise (Shohat, it could be argued was instrumental in getting Bailey disbarred).
I saw a mention that Shohat appeared in a televised mock OJ trial as one of OJ's lawyers which is odd to say the least.
From all indications, Shohat would get involved in a case if it promised either a big payout for him and/or HIGH visibility publicity. This "case" appears to be motivation #2.
One thing is for sure - Shohat is no stranger to drug cases. Appears to be his area of specialty.

If it is true, provable or not, it goes to Shohat's experience in these drug setups.
BTW, there is a strong connection between USDOJ and Shohat. Check out Maria Beguiristain who works for the University of Miami and at the Dept of Justice. She is or was Mrs. Shohat...hmmm. You can find her bio at
http://www.mcnarylaw.com/mbs.htm Another interesting connection is Israel Encinosa. His son interned for Shohat.

Shohat and Boies also handle parental kidnapping cases and Boies likes to destroy innocent lives by litigating and re-litigating until the parties don't even know how it all began. Dems still blame him for Gore losing the election.
