Tom, a twenty to thirty year political veteran, looked at the same polls, showing that he didn't hold on to his voters from last fall, had an even more difficult (let's face it, impossible) job to get them all back due to his more limited finances...and chose to keep running until he hits bottom. Who looks more like the amateur?
