Avoiding my question and the point of the article.

The reality is the CA G.O.P. wants to modify its planks and doesn't have the guts to tell its constituency. Otherwise it would be supporting Tom instead of opposing him. The same scenario is being played out in AZ and I believe PA.

Wrong. Read for comprehension: According to this article, the party doesn't matter. It's the people -- Democrat, Republican, Independent, etc -- who have made this choice independent of party. And they will choose somebody to replace Davis. The views of that person are available, if you want to know them. But your real purpose here is to badmouth Schwarzenegger, so why bother, eh?

It's gonna be hilarious around here when Toomey/Specter begins to heat up. Prepare to hear Clarence Thomas' name over and over and over and over and over.
