Mayor Alan Autry will try to suspend the city's Human Relations Commission after its chairwoman issued a news release labeling a local conservative organization a "hate group." Autry vowed Saturday to take action against the commission in the latest clash between the group and more conservative members of the Fresno city government.

Reyes said she wrote the news release, with help from another commissioner, because, "there's a link on the website that refers to this group as anti-gay and anti-immigration. When intolerance comes to the table, we need to answer that call."

OH, there was a LINK (from the leftists planning to disrupt, that called us antigay and anti-immigrant)! Well, that makes it all better. Of course you had to act on hearsay and impugn the WRONG people.

He was a favorite of mine, too. Pleased to note that he has more sense and more social responsibility than the hate propogaters with whom he is dealing. May the Lord give him favor and fortitude plus unwavering principle in his battle against that evil.

There was a post a couple weeks ago; somebody had gone to one of those leftist underground sites and saw that the people were going to crash the FR picnic. On this leftist website they said that FR is anti gay, anti justice, pro-war. I acutally corresponded w/one of the people and they said they are actually against Dems and Republicans. If somebody can find the link to that site (I'm at work) then we can find out who is behind this.

Yes, we exercise our constitutionally given right to assemble peacefully, we support the second amendment, and we love our country. We try to do everything we can to turn back this push toward big government and socialism. We fly Old Glory proudly and stand tall as we defend the freedoms our founders established for this country.

Apparently the leftist wackos think these things equal hate. I knew it wouldn't be long before this was going to happen and believe we can expect more.

I am just thankful that the mayor of Fresno has the backbone to stand up to these people who apparently have nothing else better to do with their time than take away our right to free speech.
