All the Middle Eastern Countries HATE the Palestinains. Egypt and Saudi Arabia have killed thousands of them. They do NOT want them in their countries (aka NIMBY). This is FACT.

Palestianians are a miserabl bunch of low-lifes that no country in the ME will claim or help. That's probably why they are forcing them on Israel , whom they don't like either.

Does anyone here see them being defended by other muslimes? Nope.

You are right... they hate the Palestinians but they use them. Use them mercilessly.

But to say that other Muslims won't defend them misses the reason there are Palestinians in the first place.

The Muslim countries (Saudis, Iran, Syria, Egypt, et al) back the Palestinians because of Israel. They use the Palestinians to destroy Israel. They keep the Palestinians locked up in the camps. They arm Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and a myriad of other terror groups. They provide weaponry, manpower, and money. They provide diplomatic cover and international pressure. They do it for one reason. To rid Israel of its Jewish population.

There objectives have not changed since 1948. What they couldn't do militarily in 1948, 1967, and 1973... they now do through terror and international pressure.

So, I do see them defended by other Muslims. But their defense would be a pretext... the true reason would be the destruction of Israel.

Not the entire West. The majority of Americans, particularly christians, understand satanic propoganda when they see it.

Yet, Israel is put on the hot seat by America time and time again because of the oppression of the Palestinian people.

Right now, Israel is pressured by this Administration, held-back by this Administration, and sometimes coerced by this Administration because of the "oppression" of the Palestinian people, who only want to live productive lives.

It's a congame... but it works...

In the early 1970's, the PLO met with the North Vietnamese leadership. The question was how could the North Vietnamese have so much sympathy in America even though they were fighting American troops.

Self-determination was the answer. Giap told Arafat that self-determination is the buzz word that the West and especially America would respond to. Everyone wants self-determination.

That is what the Palestinians say they want. That is what the Road Map gives them.

Whereas I agree that the Palestinians are the authors of their own deserved destruction, the truth and reality is that the West and the US (especially) has bailed them out of their own deserved destruction time and time again while holding Israel firmly at bay.

But not all the responsibility rests with the West and the US... the Israelis have sent out conflicting messages as to their policy toward the Palestinians too.

I agree. Further to this, most support Israel due to emotional/religious attachment - not political view. This "clouds" diplomatic action for either side.

American christians(I guess British as well, but cant speak for them)traditonally support Israel, by their Gods decree and by their hearts. And who supports Pals? Islamists (same as muslim, I dont know) and atheists.

"***I guess I don't get your point. What chance don't the Palestinains stand?

My starting point: Other arab states defend palestinians only because the end justifies the means: the destruction of Israel.

Between the Israeli army (who are historicaly well known to be lethal) and under USA/British protection, the palestinians will be forced to make consessions if they want their own state - they lack military force to push the issue.

Although the United States is sitting on the fence regarding arafat right now, I dont believe they will allow the destruction of Israel. Israel will have allies. But the arab states surrounding Israel will not defend the pals militarily mainly due to oil money received by USA/Britain/et al.

Final point:
To date, the pals will NOT make concessions and the Israelis have made too many (in their opiniom and mine. This can lead to military action againts pals - who do not stand a chance againts the Israeli army coupled with United States/British intervention.

I know I talk in circles, did my best to clarify.
