Wow...stopped in just to say hi and never expecting this! BEAUTIFUL JOB Aqua and Billie. Aqua...no wonder you were out of sight this weekend. Thanks for fighting the good fight AND for the firsthand account of this very important part of our history.

From Fred on Everything--
We live in a wantonly irreligious age-at least at the level of public discourse. In America the courts, the schools, and the government seek to cleanse the country of religion. More accurately, they seek to cleanse it of Christianity. We are told, never directly but by relentless implication, that religious faith is something one in decency ought to do behind closed doors-an embarrassment, worse than public bowling though not quite as bad as having a venereal disease.

Yesterday I saw a small "10 Commandments" that looked very similar to the monument in Alabama. I think I will go back and get it today and put it by my desk. This is a crucial issue the outcome of which will determine the direction of America for the future.
Thank you for going and being there and defending our freedom and our rights. I may yet have to go myself as this thing gets more drawn out. It is quite a drive for me.

What a beautiful story you shared with us. Your photos are *outstanding* and the layout of the thread is just exquisite. You've done major justice to a majorly important cause!
May God Bless you and your husband abundantly for your efforts to keep Him in our daily lives. The founding fathers are smiling down upon you and the others for keeping their vision of a God-driven government alive!

Aqua, thank you so much for doing this today. I hope you know how much I appreciate you and how much it means to me that you 'wanted' to post your report and pictures in a special Finest thread. I know how hard you worked on it - believe me, the other hostesses also know how hard you worked to learn the mechanics of one from scratch. :)
Your vignette of the father and two children is great! (Dutchess, lookie! Has your software come in yet?!)
Thanks again - it's a special treat for me this week to sit back and enjoy today and tomorrow as a 'guest', rather than the hostess!
