Hey Dawg, have they found your senators yet? And BTW, how's your redistricting plan going these days. With a Republican majority, should be a slam dunk, eh?

Republicans absolutely dominate politics across the board in Texas, and the trend is only more that way. The situation with the Democrats fleeing to New Mexico is a last ditch effort from a dying breed. I'm not worried about it whatsoever. Texas is the best state in the world for pro-gun, pro-business, pro-capitalist, conservatives, and only getting better. I actually like what's happening in California because it just keeps sending people and businesses our way. In other words, I wish you'd elect a Republican to help re-elect Bush next year, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. (The major metropolitan areas in Texas have continued to boom right on through this cyclical economic downturn.)

And, as always... enjoy Cruz.

That's total Dog dung

First everyone is sreaming about the libs from Cal invading their states, now you say you like it.

The fact of the matter is, Texas, like Cal is literally over-run will hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, and others that are now deciding to call Texas home.

Here's a small example for you.

The HoustonChronicle.com ^ | August 2002 | Edward Hegstrom

Texas has one of the nation's fastest-growing Middle Eastern populations, and most of the state's immigrants live in Houston, according to a study based on census data.

Researchers at the Center for Immigration Studies say Texas' Middle Eastern population more than doubled in the last decade, to just over 100,000, including more than 52,000 in Greater Houston.

OK, I'm jealous. Texas is a rock for conservative values. May you all live long and prosper. :O)
