I will vote for whatever "r" is looking like the leader.
I can vote for McClintock... if I had to, and thought it was the only way to win.

Winning is more important than 100 percent score on ideology.
But it won't be close...
And McClintock WILL drop out.
Take it to the bank.
or let me hedge that with he WILL be forced to drop out, of the race, or the party, if he refuses.

the "my way or no way" righty tighties will not be running the party either way... nor will the "lefties" if Arnold wins.

At this point a vote for McClintock is as good as one for bustamove... but I honestly think ARnold will win even if McClintock 'stays in til the bitter end'.

He is about as appealing in his "charisma" as a bottle of phillips MOM... and whether idealogues like it or not... in the day of TV and MEDIA... people, especially moderate women, soccer moms and such vote on "appearance" and "charisma" instead of mathmatical calculation skills.

California is no longer conservative christian enough to elect a "true right winger" like Tom...

I don't actually care though ultimately as long as an R wins.
It's a party thing with me. You cannot govern, if you don't win... even with all the "pretty pretty pretty" ideas and correct moral constructs...

Would you vote for Arnold if Mac dropped out?
Most Mac supporters won't... because for them, Arnold is not conservative enough.

Yes, I would vote for Arnold if McClintock dropped out, but he won't drop out. But if he is not even close three weeks out, I jump ship (breaking my ankle on the way...) and vote Arnold because he is better than Cruz. Arnold is my second choice, and secretly behind the scenes, I believe that most McClintock supporters would vote Arnold if Tom has no chance...however, there are always diehards that will go down with the ship...

But still, it is DAY 14 of a two-month race, and maybe I won't have to jump, break my ankle or strain my knee...and we will be happy for you to come on board our bandwagon...

BTW: You are not alone...alot of people you ask around here say that if it were close they would vote for Tom too...As for me, I just don't give up this early in the fight, otherwise I would be beginning the fight with a big compromise...and things usually go downhill from there...

Dana Rohrabacher has a 92% rating from the American Conservative Union and is a former senior speech writer for President Reagan.

"If they don't have a chance to be elected, they're doing the party a disservice," Rohrabacher said. "Right now is the time for these candidates to look themselves in the mirror and be honest about their chances."
